# Share Diagrams

Open a diagram and use **Share** to copy its web link. The link gives teammates, stakeholders, and subject-matter experts a shared visual reference they can review.

## Public diagrams

Anyone with the diagram URL can view a public diagram. Use public visibility when a diagram is safe to share broadly.

## Private diagrams

Private diagrams are limited to authorized access. Access can include the owner or members of the owning team.

## Share safely

- Do not publish secrets or credentials in Mermaid source.
- Use private visibility for internal architecture or unfinished work.
- Review the visibility setting before sending a link externally.
