Merfolk diagrams can be public or private. Visibility is a collaboration decision: choose who needs to understand the work, who needs to provide context, and who should be able to update the shared source.
Public
Anyone with the diagram URL can view a public diagram. This is useful for documentation, demos, and diagrams that are safe to publish.
Private
Private diagrams require authorization. Access may be granted to:
- The diagram owner
- Members of the owning team
